On Parker

We got a trailer, 2 golf carts, a big water heater, luggage and food for 4 people for a week, and 4 people, all loaded in the truck, in Victoria and the drive shaft starts whacking on the way to the ferry. Because the truck is so long, it has 2 drive shafts, and a balance bearing in the middle. Well the balance bearing pulled out of its keeper, giving the drive shaft 2" to flop around and make lots of whacking noise.

I towed the trailer and golf carts to the barge site, picked up another trailer with a big 5000 ish gallon water tank on it, and decided I should fix the truck at the barge site. It involves several hours labor, and a new $60 bearing to do it rite. I just assume I can't get the bearing, and instead ran an extension cord from someone's shop, and borrowed Kim's new welder, and steel, to make a bearing keeper. I welded it all in at the barge site, and called it good. Good for another 2000km anyway.

We got the gas powered gold cart running again yesterday, it had a clogged main jet, only ran with the choke on. Here is the video of that.
