Where Do The Dead Mice Go?

Every day I go out to "the farm", I shoot me a mouse or 5 in the shop w the old Daisy BB gun.  I have laser sights now, the mice don't stand a chance.  In my highly organized shop, dead mice go on the floor.  But they never stay there.  Often within an hour they disappear.  I thought this was strange, a good 20 mice have vaporized without a trace, not like I misplaced them, they never show up again.  My only working camera, these days, is my Iphone.  I was able to live without my Iphone for 46 min today, but not a second longer.  Probably just as well, because it was just about to get gory, but I came back for my phone.
